  Japanese imports. Even VW's have cheaper gearbox bits - a bit of a surprise ! What is surprising is that this isn't well known outside of the trade - Toyota's score well in various customer surveys. Anyone here any experiences ? Older Toyota's don't seem to suffer this issue, apparently ....
