i have a mg zs 2003 and when i turn left or brake hard and turn left i get a creaking sound coming from the drivers footwell it dont do it when i am pulling away, what could this be? thanks for any help -

How do i tell when a clutch is worn....the peddle needs to be quite high befor the clutch engages, but htere seems to be no slip when moving away with the parking brake on...(during testing!!) What else can i do to test? Thx -

Basically, different cars have differing "brake pedal feelings", some feel soft and squishy, with plenty of travel. Others have little travel and are quite firm, sometimes even sharp. Personally, I prefer the softer approach, as it's easier to drive smoothly. WHat about you? -

There was an article in H.J`s column in last Saturday`s Telegraph re the need for different length wheel bolts to fit a spacesaver wheel on M. Benz to avoid hub/brake damage. Does anyone know if this problem is unique to Mercedes or are other marques equally affected.?????? -

I am leaving my Corolla for a couple of weeks parked. Last time I did this, the front brakes nearly seized due to corrossion on the front disc (it had rained whilst I was away). So, question, is there any way to avoid this ?! -
