  Is there a spray on foam or something which will dissolve the oil in a way that it can then be washed off with a hose pipe or pressure washer (I would remove the plug leads and protect the dizzy cap etc). How effective is the method you are going to suggest?

  when i start up my mondeo it misfires but starts working better as i drive more. i have recently changed dizzy, plugs and leads but it is still misfiring. what else could it be?

  Have changed plugs,leads,coil packs,fuel filter but still get intermitent hesitation on this car.Am thinking of changing throttle potentiometer,at 55gbp!! Possible air leak in manifold?? HELP

  just brought 2.0ltr rxe but it has an idle problem the tickover goes up and down like a yoyo changed the usual (plugs,leads,etc etc) had no effect anyone got any ideas please.

  Is it best to keep a battery on smart charge when the car is not in use to prolong the life, or is it better to just use the vehicle  and cycle the normal charge/run down process? In other words, do lead-acid batteries benefit from being worked?

  Why is it batteries have never advanced from the lead acid principle when smaller batteries used in the electronic gadgetry have advanced leaps and bounds. They seem to stuck in time!!. And there is bound to a knowledgeable backroomer to shed light on this one.

  Having problems removing spark plugs caps on this engine. special tool attached to HT lead for this but still unable to pull cap completely clear of plug without catching on inlet/outlet maifold. Suggestions please.

  hi the car has been in a bump the airbag has gone off the starter motor makes no noise or movement but cross leads on it and it turns over but wont start no feed to coil pack can anyone help cheers

  have recently developed a miss fire on number 2 plug. i have changed the plugs and no change, checked the coil pack and leads and still no difference -- any advice  ?

  Has anyone replaced any bulbs in their car with the new LED sort? I want to give it a go but I want to find some that have the resistors built in, I have looked but all the different websites lead to information overload after a while.

  runs ok up to 40 mph. go over that and it starts to miss and cuts out but not ever time.any one, any clues please. plugs are new and two coils and two leads seem ok.

  Have hust changed the HT leads and spark plugs oy 1994 mazda mx-3 v6 and noticed oil in thw spark plug hole??? have been told it could be the valve cover gasket? any ideas? is this a garage only fix?????

  2nd question of the day. In Basingstoke traffic calming measures have sprouted like weeds on the lawn. I say the hump devices damage your cars tracking-steering- suspension - etc leading to prematurely worn tyres : obviouly dangerous....any comments?

  Ive come to a problem with the car today, my dads cheap n chearfull runaround thats been a money pit. Hes been getting about 30mpg running about locally, just been doing routine checks under bonnet and the HT leads were fairly lose and one had poped off, i had changed them about 8 months

  A2 misfires on one cylinder when thermostat opens and the engine is hot. Numerous things tried plugs,plug leads,even accellerator pedel.Only misfires when hot. Any ideas?
