98 Vauxhall Omega estate brakes - steelman
Recent front brake pad change completed has resulted in the pad warning indication coming on, on the dashboard readout. Disconnected both leads one at a time to try and clear but made no difference. any ideas?

Do you mean the message "Check Brake Pads" on the info display?
This is a sensor on any of the brakes which has been worn through.
Disconnecting the leads has the same effect of a worn sensor, so will not help, you would beed to short the pins in the plugs that go into the wheel arches, maybe you can put a bit of foil in the connectors and plug them back in?

If the warning comes on, you have to replace the sensor with the pads, as the sensors are use once only.
