Good all round family cruiser

This is my third XC60 that's how much I like them. They have all been the diesel D5 versions. My first was the 185bhp and now its 215bhp. My two main complaints would be fuel economy at 35mpg average and the rather "gruff" 5 cylinder diesel engine when pushed. It has ample power but is no sports car.The DAB radio in my current one is far less superior to the other two which tells me Volvo maybe cutting corners somewhat. I have the R design lux nav version which has a more taught feel and I think is a good mix for a car of this size. Its the most comfortable car of the five that I own contrary to other comments on here. The R design seats are very supportive and I get no compliants from the back either. The winter pack includes "bending" zeon lights, heated front screen, seats etc. I have a set of winter wheels/tyres it goes anywhere in winter! I,ve had no major problems with any of them. In short its a great safe family cruiser.
