Very happy with what I've bought

As a Volvo owner for over 30 years I have always been pleased with the cars I have owned and the latest XC60 is no exception. The interior is what I have come to expect from Volvo, comfortable, stylish, roomy and functional and the exterior lines are very pleasing. The car is a pleasure to drive for a large vehicle (easier than my previous and slightly larger V70) due to the high driving position and good all-round visibility. The boot is a good size and we both like the automatic tailgate facility. The Nav system is amazingly useful but I suspect that we will never master and use all of its functions but that is a reflection of our limited IT abilities and not a fault of the car. It is too early to comment on some issues such as fuel economy and general wear and tear but I suspect that it will live up to its Volvo reputation for reliability and robustness. Time will tell. The only criticism I have, and this has already been mentioned, is the hard ride it gives. This is a disappointment in the vehicle but given all the other variables involved in buying a new car I can live with it.
