Practical smart modern car with 5 year warranty

Took delivery of 2.0 CRDi Premium 4WD (Machine Silver) on 5th August 2 months after placing order with our local dealer to replace a 7 year old 110000 mile Passat 130bhp Diesel tiptronic. Obviously the new car has a much firmer ride than we are used to, but have found it very comfortable and enjoyable to drive. Build quality and trim compares well with the VW except for a loose fitting trim on the lower offside corner of the windscreen, but I’m not complaining. The optional sat nav and reversing camera was a good value option for £800. The sat nav has a useful speed limit reminder in the corner and will also display a split screen with compass if you like!
Have done 2200 miles so far including a recent 600 mile round trip to the Isle of Wight towing our Lunar Quasar 615 twin axle caravan. Very pleased with towing ability, cruise control on the motorway at about 60 mph in 6th gear doing 2000rpm effortlessly and feeling very secure. Overall 25mpg towing and 43mpg solo, but expect this may improve with more miles on the clock. The dealer fitted a Witter detachable flanged tow bar with 13 pin electrics for £499.
