Hyundai ix35 (2009 - 2015)
1.7 CRDi Premium (2WD) 5dr 4 X 4
good car, comfortable seating but steering is vague and rear suspenion too hard
I have driven approx 22K and the car is reliable and has comfortable seating, in May 4 adults went across to Belgium through the tunnel (Bruge & Ypers etc) and we had no problems with the mechanics or comfort (until someone crashed into the parked car in Ypres, not too much damage but a pig to sort out with their insurers).
I have had the front shockers replaced with the upgraded Hyundai ones not long after buying the car (by the dealer, under warranty) and this made a significant difference, however I am not happy with the rear suspension (it finds and "drops" into every pothole and rough road...and there are plenty in North Somerset). The electric steering is also a bit "vague" and requires a lot of correction.
Overall the car is good value and has done an average of 45mpg overall the 22K miles driven.
NB: I would still like the Audi Q3, but her indoors won't let me spend the money!!
