Hyundai i10 (2008 - 2014)
1.2 Comfort 5dr Hatchback
If it wasn't for the warranty, I'd be a pauper
Whilst I've found this car to be nippy and fun to drive, I've had to rely on the warranty on more than one occasion. My car has only done 33,000 in 5 years from brand new, so I'd expect better.
I've had to have the rear window trims replaced due to signs of corrosion; the nearside passenger door handle repainted due to flaking paint; the instrument cluster replaced (resetting the mileage) because of a fault; the radio replaced because it wasn't picking up even the main stations; and a loose connection soldered because the car was failing to start with the immobiliser light coming on. Oh, not forgetting a problem with the headlights early on and the left-hand indicator that still doesn't switch off automatically like it does on the right but Hyundai won't acknowledge there's a fault, even though it never used to do it. All in all, not very good!
