Honda HR-V (2015 - 2021)
1.5iVTEC SE CVT 5dr SUV
Easy to drive, comfortable and quiet
This car has lots of space internally and the wonderful "magic" seats. it won't ever win the traffic light grand prix, but that's not why you buy it in the first place. It sits higher on the road than most cars which makes it easier to get into and out of, especially for older folk, who, as is the case for the Honda Jazz, will probably form the bulk of buyers. It's a reasonable performer and does have a "sport" mode in the auto box - which I have used only once to see what difference it made. My only real complaint is that there is insufficient space in the centre console and the door pockets for things such as a folding umbrella to fit comfortably. I know it's the modern trend, but I don't like the automatic wipers which at times have a mind of their own. These are however small complaints for what is a comfortable, competent car without the flash looks of, for example, a Nissan Juke - no doubt designed for a different buyer than the H-RV. All in all, I'm pleased with my purchase.
