Overall reliability

Ticks all the boxes for my requirements

HONDA HRV EX CVT modern steel auto with premium pack, 5 year warranty/service/Lifeshine and spacesaver at 350 miles plus.

Chosen from Chiswick Honda (great staff service). Considered CX 3, Vitara, BMW Active Tourer.

Returning 46.3 mpg in mix of motorway and town.

Good place to be for fit, finish, comfort, heating/ventilation, satnav, music, intuitive touch controls, opening roof, handles well, perhaps steering a lttle light but easy in city, nimble with slightly unsettled ride on poor road surfaces and main sounds wind and tyre. Good driver and rear seat passenger space but would like extra 2 inch front passenger leg room. Used to CVT so drive progressively mixing in sport mode and ocassionally paddle shifts. On that basis minimise engine noise.

Does what it says on the tin. Overall a pleasant but unexciting driving experience. With magic seats, lots of safety kit and assuming usual Honda reliability and service levels should meet my requirements.
