Honda Civic (2017 - 2021)
Honda civic 1.5 sport manuel hatchback
Ok but could be better.
Bought this car in August after owning a 1.4 Seat Leon eco tsi for the last three years and to be honest I don't think this car is anywhere near as well built and definitely not as economical, averaged 45 mpg with the Leon and have never got above 39 mpg with this Honda.Refinement is ok but on certain roads it is noisy, wind noise is also present at motorway speeds but it does ride well with a supple ride. The tech that comes with the car isn't that good, saw reviews about the head unit and thought it can't be that bad believe me it is, unresponsive screen complicated menus also the cruise control is unrefined and tends to jerk the car when you set it ,it has difficulty maintaining a steady speed and the intelligent speed minder well isn't that good relying on screen mounted camera for information on speeds so most of the time it is basically useless as the signage on our roads is limited at best and when it is there it doesn't pick it up that well, really don't know why it can't use GPS information as well. This is a big car and is at the upper end in size of a family hatchback and you really appreciate the all round parking sensors and reversing camera all in all its ok but won't be rushing to buy again and to be honest will probably change this car early and would be willing to take a hit financially.
