Outstanding car .

I’ve had this car for about a year and clocked up 28000 miles so far. It does a comprehensive mix of urban, rural and motorway. It is great round town, with a light clutch and strong breaks (sometimes a little grabby). On the motorway the intelligent cruise, lane assist and comfortable seats make it a mile muncher. What came as areal surprise is it’s performance on B roads. Given its comfort and economy focused diesel I did not expect her to be able to ‘pick up her skirts’ and put a smile on my face.
Faults: The infotainment system is woefully designed. It is the cars biggest flaw. Even after 28k it is awkward and frustrating. The service frequency. It seems ridiculous for a modern diesel to need servicing every 6000 miles. The seats look dirty quite quickly, although they clean up again well.
I like this car despite its idiosyncrasies. I get 55-60 mpg even though I drive it quite hard. It has never missed a beat. I never have trouble finding it in the car park.
