Excellent - but a wee bit cramped in the back

It's often very hard to remember this car is a diesel - perhaps at startup, but on the road...the handling is superb with the steering set to "sport". With the on-board computer set at MPG it encourages you to lift off and adopt an eco driving style - at 52,000 miles there's still no need to change the brake pads. I'd recommend the parking sensors though! This car does 53 MPG in summer on 50 MPG winter - the clear view screen is a boon. Niggles, few, but here they are. The rear-screen wiper is too light for the job. Changing light bulbs is a bit of a hassle and the mechanism for holding the bulbs is horribly cheap (bits broke off my nearside one!). After the last service there's been a few issues with diesel weeping from the injectors and the common rail but this may be the garage rather than the car, and they've tightened everything up. Went through the front tyres at 35,000 miles - check the wear on the inners (speed bumps probably to blame). It;s rather tight space-wise in the back and my passengers are ten and under - I'd like a few inches more leg space. Had to have the aircon re-gassed at 51,000 miles.
