Overall reliability

Worst car I've ever owned.

We've had a lot of trouble with this car, including the infamous issue with the air suspension dying, as featured on BBC Watchdog. General quality is dreadful, both in build and the quality of materials. It's like it's being held together by Blu-Tac! Its driving style is, shall we say, eccentric. I find it noisy and unrefined. It's slow, for instance you have to be really careful pulling away at a junction to allow enough time, not useful on busy roads. It's not so bad sat on the motorway though. Shame the seats up front aren't too supportive, after an hour in it I have back ache. Also the seat padding is getting out of shape, given it's not high mileage and I'm not at all heavy! We bought it because we needed a car with 3 individual seats in the back, so in that regard it fitted the bill, and I like the privacy glass and built in window blinds for the rear compartment. The boot is big and has 2 extra seats if required. Unfortunately one of these seats broke on the second use because the quality just isn't there. Our local Citroen dealer is very lackluster too, the service dept not really seeming to understand their own cars but being very good at thrusting a large invoice in your face. I won't have another Citroen again.
