Creative design, comfortable and bright inside, damned by intermittent faults.

The car has space to spare. The interior has been cleverly designed to enable maximum use of the available space. The seats are easily accessed or removed as required. The provision of tonneau cover, dog guard and cargo net leave other manufacturers behind. The driving position is good, the engine and gearbox excellent (see proviso) and the fuel consumption, especially on long journeys unbeatable in it's class. Rear windows all have blinds and dark glass. There are plenty of cubby holes, storage areas and trays for the rear seat passengers.

It looks like an MPV, drives like an MPV but is enjoyable due to the huge windscreen allowing much needed light into the large interior. It is quiet, roomy and enjoyable to drive. Handling improves when the tyre pressure is increased for motorway speeds and heavy loads.

The car has been spoiled by an inability of the gearbox to retain the 'bite' point information. It constantly has to be reformatted by the garage or by me using an ad hoc procedure. The rear hydraulics failed on the M5, the rear right brake chose to seize at the same time. The brake repeated this trick several months later. Prior to a recall for an update I would willingly have chiselled the automatic petrol lid from the car. I believe I may have a 'Friday' car. Occasionally fuel consumption has become heavy, due to rural usage of the vehicle. A quick blast on the dual carriageway appears to clear the problem.
