Magic carpet ride
The EGS always takes getting used to after which its as smooth as the ride.(the secret is not to be in a hurry to take off, after the start is fine) Excellent for towing. The grunt offered by the 2.0 HDI is more suitable. So far at 58000 miles only minor irritations like sidelight bulbs. economy for the 250 miles in the week is 42mpg. long runs of 150 miles will see 48 mpg. Its smooth ride almost makes you forgive the niggles, but I do think Citroen need to seriously reconsider their EGS. Even the latest offering is not up to the DSG standards of VW who are possibly their only contenders in this market.
