Citroen C3 Picasso (2009 - 2017)
1.6 VTI Exclusive
Very practical Jack of all trades with a compact footprint, but with a few niggles.
Bought this car in a hurry as my 13 year Xsara Picasso gave up the ghost in dramatic fashion. Not as roomy as the Xsara Picasso, but then it is a size down, and is very capacious for its size.
This version comes with plenty of bits of kit as standard, and the 1.6 Petrol engine gives good performance, but economy not as good as I was hoping. Gearbox a bit of a disappointment and quite notchy, and doesn't come out of fifth gear very easily (although this might just be my particular car).
Height of car means a large loading area (you can even fold the passenger seat for long loads), and commanding driving position, with good all round visibility. Handling not bad for a tall car, but ride spoilt by low profile tyres (lesser models ride better).
Minor niggles - armrest on driver seat gets in the way, and can't be easily removed.
Indicators flash minimum of 3 times, and wont cancel until they have flashed 3 times - awkward if you accidentally knock the indicator stalk.
Good Points - Performance : Practicality : Load Space : Equipment Levels
Bad Points - Gearbox : Ride : Idiosyncrasies.
