Citroen C5 X (2022 on)
C5X 1.2 shine
Brilliant
lots of reviews are when cars are still fresh from the dealer and the honeymoon period is in full swing. I have had mine for 12800 miles since new in march 23. I loved the looks and still do. the ride is excellent with really good damping on potholed roads and a quiet and serene waft on motorways and dual carriageways. This is no sports car and it doesn't pretend to be so if you are looking for a stiff ride and pointy handling you may as well stop reading now. If you want a very comfortable, very spacious, economical and relaxing ride this is one superb car ( I also used to have one of those). The C5X is returning 45.5 since i have had it and easily beats 50 mpg on a run. the heads up display is fantastic and projects everything clearly onto the windscreen as if it is on the road in front of you - not one of the plastic pop up things. Wireless android auto is mostly good it occasionally drops off. The wireless charging is great for compatible phone and storage in the cabin is great. The satnav is good but the American voice is annoying ( an upgrade to an British voice is being released but i don't have it yet) the traffic alerts and speed cam info is good on the system. The 1.2 is the revelation for me. the performance is more than adequate and pulls well with good torque and its quiet at speed. i didn't see the point in the phev which was several thousand pounds dearer - several thousands buys lots of petrol and the real world economy between the 2 isn't as great as you would think. Overall i love it. Its a rare sight on the road, its quiet comfortable and its brilliant
