  Hi, Oil change light came on in my car so I took it to my local repair guy who bought in the correct oil to do the change but the oil can and the 'Change the Oil' warnings are still coming on.  Does anybody know how I can get rid of them?   Thanks

  I've just bought a 2.0 dti, and the oil changes are stated as being done every 30000 miles with long life oil, this seems a long period for a diesel, what are your views on this, as i'm used to changing the oil every 5-6000, and what is the best oil to use? Thanks

  Reading in rhe agony motoring column. My dealer won't change the oil. I have free oil changes for life as part of the sale. Reason not enough kms but oil changes are twice a year to get the warranty cover. Please help.

  Is National the only company to offer a low cost, quick, oil change? I tried Googling for this but just got a load of guides telling me how to change the oil! Changed it today and for the amount I save now that I have to use fully synth top notch oil, it's not worth doing it myself anymore.

  I  called to check up on the price of an oil change as Kia do not do it at the 1 year 10000 mile service. Someone posted a while back about the first service on a french car  and the extra for an oil change. I think this beats it. filter is £8 and oil is bulk

  Just had oil and filter changed for £15 oil used was duckhams qxr semi-synth rated 10w40. Can i top up oil in the future with any as long as it is 10w40 or do i need 2 use semi synth 10w40 ???? Not big on oil just wondering..

  Is it possible for me to do an oil change myself? Only I hear on some modern German cars there are no oil drain plugs and the oil is removed by using a pump only available at the service centres.
