  I would be grateful for any suggestions on how to deal with our Seat Altea 2.0 FSi. Since we have owned it from 1 year old it has repeatedly entered ?safe mode? when driving on the motorway. This means the car loses all power and the only solution is to coast to the hard shoulder, switch off

  HI,  I've got just over half a tank of petrol in my car, which is not getting used daily as it used to be.  I'm running it a couple of times a week for 10 minutes or so.  Will the petrol be ok for the next few weeks or can it get 'too old' and affect the car?  Thanks.

  new car but very noisy. drumming noise varies with road surface. Sounds like it needs damping kit under the car!! Have wrapped spare wheel with old blanket to no avail is this typical of octavias or can i do something about it

  I am thinking of buying a Focus TDCI less than a year old from a Ford main dealer and the package includes £235 for a hard protection of the water based paint against such things as bird droppings. Is it worth it and if it's so good why don't the manufacturers put it on at the factory.

  Is there a straightforward way of stopping the trip speedo coming up with INSP ? The car is a year old, and has had a service at the local independent. The mechanic is on holiday just now, and I don't want to go out of my way to a main dealer. Car is a 2005 Astra 1.6 Club, petrol.
