Hi all, Can anyone tell me which type of brake fluid I shoudl use on this vehicle please? Need to top up as a temp measure before changing pads and don't know which DOT to use. Thanks! maceman -

The brake wear sensor light came on, I changed the front pads, the sensor light stayed on. I disconnected the sensor cable, the light stayed. on it's on all the time. There are no sensors on the rear shoes.Help please. -

When braking from speed there seems to be a thudding noise coming from the rear of the car. its not just a single thud, its quite a rapid thud until the car is at stand still. just wondering if anybody has any clues to what this could be. any advise would be greatly recieved. cheers -

Hi I am sorry that this thread has been covered before. I am about to change the fluid on my Golf 4 TDI, will I see any difference in performance in up grading to DOT 5.1 from DOT 4. Also how will this effect the use of the clutch as the fluid is used for both brake & clutch. Thanks Hugh -
