    Hand brake lever is loose at the top part and need to get to the spring to adjust. Most car have a screw you take off and the sleeve comes off but the 2006 Citroen C5 doesn't seem to have one. Anybody knows how? Thanks Tony

    While inspecting the offside brake disc I noticed it is pitted on one side when jacked up the car thee was resistance as if the caliper is seized. The pitting is only on the inside of the disc. Not the wheel side. Could this be the slide that is seized or is it more likely to be the piston

    Does the screw in rear brake adjuster stop turning when it is fully in or does it just keep turning. I can not get enough clearance for the new pads and disk. Regards Peter

    The problem I have is that when driving along the brakes seem to seize up after about 10 minutes. I pull over for a couple of minutes and then the car seems to drive ok. Please help.

    followed an Astra 2 nights back that had those new brake lights that flash when you stand on the middle pedal hard........are all cars getting them i.e. new legislation or is it a newish gimmick filtering in? as an aside, i still can't get on with Vauxhall indicators.... they're infuriating

    I have an X reg Zafira 1.8 Elegance with 30K miles. When I apply the brakes in the wet, there is a banging sound (just the once) underneath somewhere. Doesn't do it in the dry. Any ideas please - could it be an ABS\Traction Control fault? Thanks. Dave.

    SWMBO's car went into the garage today because of ringing sound on the front pads, which came on and off when I braked. Garage fitted new pads. I was told that this is a new wear warning mechanism when the pads are on their way out. Whatever happened to the old warning light mechanism?? H
