Banging underneath when braking in wet? - cdb

I have an X reg Zafira 1.8 Elegance with 30K miles.

When I apply the brakes in the wet, there is a banging sound (just the once) underneath somewhere. Doesn't do it in the dry.

Any ideas please - could it be an ABS\Traction Control fault?

Check your spare tyre. Or rather, check the broken empty spare tyre cradle.
