I own a 1999 Skoda Octavia Tdi (110hp). The problem that i get, is that it suffers from a flat spot betwween 2800 & 3200 r.p.m Is this a characteristic of this engine, or maybe an ecu one ? -
Toyota - Estima 1996, 2.2 3CT-E engine. Diesel fault. 29 Nov 2015 (Forum)
(anyone got the pin-outs?) I seem to have about 11.5 volts going into various pins on the ECU. I have 9 volts to the fuel cut-off solenoid. I have 5.4 volts at both wires on one of the 4 electonic valves on the pump that control fuel to the injectors on the pump. Engine earth seems OK. I did -
Citreon Saxo - Citreon Saxo Fuel Relay Issue 11 Sep 2014 (Forum)
then to be sure. I can get the pump to run by powering it via another power source so the pumps fine and then the car will run. The wiring in the loom is all good as are the fuses... I'm absolutely stumped. I'm wondering if the relay sends a signal to the ecu and perhaps its an ecu fault? Although when I do get -
Honda Accord 96 - Refit Repaired ABS Modulator - new problems 9 Oct 2013 (Forum)
I would really appreciate any advice here as I am tearing my hair out. The VSA warning light has been on for years and I didn't bother with it as it didn't affect the MOT. It now does. Honda said 2k, so I got the part taken out (ABS modulator) and sent it to ECU testing who repaired -

Vauxhall Corsa B (1993 - 2000) - 99 1.2 Sudden loss of power - how do I test AFM? 12 Jun 2009 (Forum)
suspecting an AFM fault. There is no ECU fault codes but apparantly on the 1.2 16v faulty AFMs usualy do not show a fault unless its very bad. The other sting is that people have had ECU problems resulting in cheap after market AFMs so it is advised to use a Bosch one but they are £100. Is there anyway -

Ford Mondeo III (2000 - 2007) - 2004 2.0 TDCi fuel Consumption 10 Apr 2009 (Forum)
My 2.0litre 115bhp TDCi only returns approx 40 mpg. I am told it should be more and the local Ford garage has not been able to improve it. It regularly soots up the EGR valve and has had a replacement ECU with several attempts at ECU firmware upgrades. It also suffers the 1700rpm flatspot. Has -

Golf V5 mk4 vibration and juddering 12 Oct 2006 (Forum)
I have a Mkiv golf V5 auto engine code AGZ which is suffering from poor idling and hesitation. I took it to a garage and it kicked up a number of faults - throttle body short to ground, mixture problems, and ecu defect. I was told to change the throttle body and that would cure it all. After -

Fiat Punto Overfuelling 12 Feb 2003 (Forum)
sensor and throttle pot. All OK. Lamda sensor is working fine (although not sure this does much at tickover). MAP sensor appears to be OK but not exactly sure how to test. Did wonder if fuel reg pressure is too high but I can't see how the ECU would know about this, hence how would it know to put -

Vauxhall Corsa 06 1.2 SXI+ (twinport) - No codes but.... 28 Feb 2019 (Forum)
. Another way to even out the idle rpm is to unplug the pre cat 02 sensor. This obviously triggers the EML but the rpm sits at about 650. Plug the sensor in and there's a bit of a delay of about 30 seconds and the pulsating returns. But I have to drive the car for a few miles before the ECU twiggs -
Toyota Yaris 2010 - Multiple ECU faults all at once. Dead car on M6 ! 10 Dec 2018 (Forum)
On Wednesday my Yaris totally died on the M6 in the wet. It's done it a few times in VERY WET motorway driving that it has stumbled and lost power (felt like fuel starvation but hard cuts, proper jerking) ECU light on and then it's fixed itself. Couldn't get to the bottom -
Peugeot 307 SW - ABS/ESR fault 20 Jan 2014 (Forum)
Trying to fix a friend's 307SW which has the (seemingly) very common ABS/ESR issues. The car is a 2003 2.0HDi and we had it connected to a Snap-On fault code reader yesterday and were told there were 2 problems logged: 1) Rear-Left ABS sensor 2) ABS ECU fault Also
