My car failed its not last week on the handbrake being unbalanced % wise,mechanic removed rear calipers found n/s partially seized, cleaned and freed the caliper off,installed new pads, took back the car and it passed,problem I have is now no handbrake at all,handbrake lever clicks 5-6 clicks -

My December 2010 Corsa D 1.2i (85) petrol manual has done 8000 miles and engine makes a faint ticking noise, barely discernible above tyre noise when driving but quite noticeable when idling at rest. Think I've heard similar noise on other similar 1.2's in car parks etc -

HELP!!! Immobiliser nightmare I've had my s reg mk4 a week now. Yesterday I drove to my mums a mile down the road did what I needed to do and when I went to start the car again the immobiliser kicked in. My step dad plugged the diagnostic machine in and erased it but it did nothing. My breakdown -

This is a pipe / hose approx 1ft in length with a diameter of about 10cm. It has a ribbed / flexible section, which is similar to bendy straws. It has an S clip on it which I presume connects to a similar pipe near by but has unclipped itself. Area is the underside roughly below where -

Hi all Just bought a lovely 1.8tdci focus estate. It's got FFSH but in the words or the garage where it's been service over the years has had "s*** loads done to it but no timing belt" He said they are due at 100,000, but is this ok or should I play it safe asnd get it done now -

Hopefully someone can save me some hassle as I want to have some idea that the garage isn't pulling a fast one. Just had the starter motor changed, now when I slow down and change down (mainly 3rd-2nd gear) I get s slight squeak as I lift my foot off the clutch. Cheers, Jon -

I am considering buying a 2.4 petrol Accord, but have heard that certain Honda engines require their tappets adjusted periodically. Does this only apply only to the high performance engines (S 2000) or would the Accord 2 litre & 2.4 petrol engines also require this adjustment. If this is the case -
