Are there problems with Honda Jazz CVT gearboxes?

I have a 2021 Jazz Hybrid. I think there is a gearbox problem. Although it is a CVT it has defined steps which mimic gears. Recently it has held on to lower ratios and fuel consumption has risen 10%. Is there a known problem with the Jazz CVT?

We have seen some reports of Honda Jazz owners experiencing issues with the CVT gearbox, although this is a relatively rare occurrence. We would advise having the vehicle inspected by an independent Honda or CVT gearbox specialist - it may be as simple as needing a service.
