  Hi. Just bought a secondhand Seat Ibiza Sport. Am looking at replacing all 4 tyres as there nearly come to there life span. I dont drive the car hard, Sometimes at a quickish pace but very rare. Am looking for the follow. Quite running Moderate grip (dry/wet) Best place for tyres, Online

  currently run a bora 1.9pd 100hp. due to change in the next 6mths. will likely stick with vw diesel so what are the pros and cons of 1.9 v 2.0 . am i better to get the 1.9 and lightly chip it or get a 2.0. for the extra power or stick with the bog standard 1.9 and go slower ? jag.

  hi there, have any of you experienced a tapping noise at all rev ranges on a tdi a4, its had new tappets, new head gasket, all the main/big end bearings removed and inspected to be found ok, a friend of mine has run out of ideas?

  hi im getting an engine management light now and a then but the car runs fine just uses more fuel when the light is on and then it will go off a few days later and its back to normal. my question is does anyone know where the diagnostic socket is?. cheers tam.

  First of all is it easy to run my 1.8 td mondeo on veggy oil/bio diesel and what type of mix.Also is it legal or do you have to pay duty on it, with the environmental issues and rise in price i thought it should be considered as an alternative.

  Hi Just bought myself a MK III Cortina that's been garaged since 1983. It's rock solid but unfortunately the previous owner has lost the keys. I chiselled of the screws on the steering lock and got it running with a screwdriver. Does anyone know if it's possible to have a set cut ? many thanks

  Some thoughts, folks, for a cheap (up to £750 ish) , preferably 4 or 5 doors, car for a newly single daughter with two children - 4 & 1.5 yrs old. Cheap to run, insure & tax. Use mostly taking children to school, going to work & local shopping. -- Roger. (Costa del Sol, España)

  Dose anyone know what could possibly be the cause of oil running down on to my clutch peddal. Its quite a pain as you can imagine it get quite slippy when driving. It dosnt look or smell like engine oli Its more of a clear oil.

  I'm on my first 2 diesel cars 1 for me 1 for the wife. I am careful to run them in but i've done nearly 5000 miles and it doesn't feel any different. People have been on about diesel engines loosening up; what do they mean by this and when can you expect for it to loosen up? Thanks!

  my 1.6 2003 golf engine type bfq sometimes "hunts" on coldstarts the tickover speed goes up and down slightly. as soon as i accelerate it,s o.k. The exhaust also smells slightly at tickover as if running rich. Any suggestions? s

  Hi I have a ford galaxy 1.9TDI 2003 and the air con gas has run out, and I have noticed halfords are now selling the gas for air con to refill it yourself but I was wondering if someone can give me help in where I find the refill valve on this car. Thanks for any help Tony
