(2005-) Oil on clutch pedal - Hizz
Dose anyone know what could possibly be the cause of oil running down on to my clutch peddal. Its quite a pain as you can imagine it get quite slippy when driving. It dosnt look or smell like engine oli Its more of a clear oil.

Oil on clutch pedal - Ruperts Trooper
Is it hydraulic fluid from a reservoir, either leaking or overfilled?

Certainly sounds like it. Check yr master cylinder pronto, or have it checked by someone who knows what and where it is.

There have been a few problems with the car of late with the steering rack, getting a clunk every now and then when slowing down and turning the wheels. I've checked the fluid lvls and they seem to be fine. Probably best if I take note and look to see if I'm loosing any fluid from any of the reservoirs.

[EDIT]

Come to think of it I can occationally hear a slight hissing after turning the engine off for a few seconds.
