  16v mondeo Si 1994 had MOT. Needed 'Brake adjust' and a new wishbone (wife has to take car to garage for me). Drove it next day and on braking slightly sharply from about 40mph cars front end felt strange grabbing to RHS. Wife returned car to garage, who said new wishbone was faulty

  Anyone else tried pressing it while the car is still moving? I had a renault scenic hire car some time back, thought I'd give it a go on an empty road at about 15mph. It braked as though an elephant had left foot braked! If you have, are all these systems the same?

  I have just replaced a brake light on my Tino..when I apply the foot brake the dash board lights up and my parking lights come on..I have taken the bulb back out but the problem remains.. any idea how to solve this issue

  K11 Micra. My right rear brake light isn't coming on. I replaced the bulb with one of the correct type, from Halfords. It still doesn't come on. Any ideas. The left brake light is OK. Thanks Mike

  hi, i have a problem with the brakes on my vectra. its a 2.0 16v, sri 140.. 1998 They seem to operate normally half the time, and the other half it is like the servo has gone (very hard brake pedal) although step on it hard enough, it will still stop you. is this going to be expensive??? your

  Does brake fluid have a shelf life? I've got a bottle in the garage that I used on the rear brake of the bike 2 1/2 years ago, now got to overhall the front calipers and I am going to change the fluid as well. Safe to use, or should I buy new? Thanks in advance.

  On my 1997 Vectra V6, I have renewed the following; Front discs and pads Master cylinder including brakes system bleeding. The brakes are improved slightly,but there is still the symptom of air in the system. Has any Back Roomer any ideas or suggestions? chartsurv.

  Our Micra's brakes have been squeaking (2000 W). ATS chappy looked at them and said that there was nothing wrong with the brakes and that there was probably little to be done about the squeak. That was 6 weeks ago. Now the squeak has steadily got worse and is more like a high pitched whistle

  I received an advisory on my MOT that the brake efficiency (service brake) was low (58%). Looking at how this is tested 58% seems slightly worrying... The brakes have never been the greatest (standard fiesta behaviour) but recently I have been noticing that the braking is a little variable
