  Just in case any owners reading this, I have received a recall notice for my car concerning a defective front hose on the braking system. The Parts are not currently in stock. Have forwarded to the garage who took my car as px after calling them, and they were very grateful!

  Hi all can any1 tell me how to adjust the hand brake at the caliper as the arm on the caliper travels around an inch before the pads start to move and when they do start to move the arm on the caliper is at its limit  thanks in advance for any info kind regards Neil

  I have an air noise sometimes coming from the brake pedal, but it goes if I gently "TAP" the pedal. It doesn't seem dangerous, what is the problem and is it expensive to cure, please. many thanks Del.

  The brake wear sensor light came on, I changed the front pads, the sensor light stayed on. I disconnected the sensor cable, the light stayed. on it's on all the time. There are no sensors on the rear shoes.Help please.

  Brakes working and ABS seems to be also but this fault stays on the display. Could it be a simple cure or do I have to spend £70 on having it wired upto the diagnostic at my local Citroen dealer???

  When the lights are off (daytime) everytime i press my brakes my headlights and dashboard come on for as long as i press the brakes. At night when all the lights are on this doesn't happen but my brake lights don't work Any help would be great

  When braking from speed there seems to be a thudding noise coming from the rear of the car. its not just a single thud, its quite a rapid thud until the car is at stand still. just wondering if anybody has any clues to what this could be. any advise would be greatly recieved. cheers

  Both brakes lights on my 97 306 meridian have gone - one had blown anyway, the other one looked ok, but had been working intermitently for a while and has now stopped altogether. I've changed both bulbs and the fuse, but still no joy. Any ideas as to fault and cost of repair?

  Hi I am sorry that this thread has been covered before. I am about to change the fluid on my Golf 4 TDI, will I see any difference in performance in up grading to DOT 5.1 from DOT 4. Also how will this effect the use of the clutch as the fluid is used for both brake & clutch. Thanks Hugh
