    My alternator light come on faintly now and then at certain revs, can it fail the MOT for this? It's been doing this for nealy a year and I've never had a flat battery yet so must still charging enough. Had a look on www.motuk.co.uk but no luck.

    I've borrower an inverter to take camping, to re-charge the video recorder battery, tooth-brushes, etc. It *could* be used to power a 240v inspection lamp, but I've a few doubts about doing this in an environment which may be damp. Could a "power breaker" (RCD) be usefully used with this equipment?

    I think the batteries in my central locking fob for my 98 primera have ran out. I have looked for replacements with no successs yet. ( sure they will be on ebay somewhere ). Once i get them is there anything i need to be aware of when replacing them??

    Having problems bringing a Rover 218 (M reg) radio back to life after the battery was disconnected. Have tried following guidelines in the rover handbook, which suggested a "C" should be displayed but it was totally blank. Have also tried leaving it on for long journeys - any ideas?

    i have a 96n astra 1.7td that is hard to start when cold it has the vauxhall engine fitted, i have had new glow plugs and a new battery fitted and it still wont start when its hot no problem any ideas.
