How you rate the manufacturer

Hyped, heavy, ordinary, very poor mpg

I was so excited to get my new XC40, I was awre fuel consumption wasnt great but was assured buy the salesman I would get close to 40mpg....... well I stuggled to get 33mpg when driving very steadily.
I cant believe a small SUV can have such poor fuel consumption, why do people buy these, you fill up them so frequently.
The infotainment system is really basic and not always clear.
The marketing is amazing, but try to get actual info from the website and it is as basic and confusing as the infotainment system.
The dealer really wasn't interested in my concerns, ignoring in the first place then trying to ram the official consumption figures down my throat, without even appearing to consider my concerns. Shocking consumer awareness. Eventually bought it back for a hefty amount less than I paid, but I was sooooo disappointed in it that it had to go, I had made a big mistake, been blinded by shiney things!
Very disappointed. Stick to something that will give cost effective service.
