Cannot get Excited

Bottom line is promised 270 mile range, get 220 if lucky, promised 40 minute fast charging, takes over an hour on fast charger as it dips the higher %. Company pays 5p a mile currently costs me around 13p a mile. Trying to find a fast charging point is a nightmare. Leave home with 192 miles 80% put heater on drops down to 176. Really cannot see what all the fuss is about. Typical journey (real life) leave worcester 100% battery, 220miles travel down M5 at 65 MPH have to charge at exeter (130 miles away) with only 60 miles left. Freezing or sweating as I dare not use the aircon After 1 hr charge back to around 90% (tired of waiting) shows around 200 miles. (around £17 at 50p a KWH) Tavistock and back to Exeter services another wait of almost an hour charge to 200 miles (another £16) back to worcester driving like a granny showing 40 miles range left when get home. The initial charge at home to get it to 100% £12 approx total cost £45. At current prices my old diesel passat would do approx 50 MPG round trip is 350miles or 7 gallons at £1.90 a ltr is around £60 and I would still have 1/2 a tank left! Sorry all hype give me back my diesel (and 2hrs of life every trip) Oh i would get £157 expenses from work for my diesel (45p) now I get £17.5 (5p) you do the maths!
