1.6CDTi 136ps Elite Start+Stop 5dr

Given three years of trouble-free motoring.

I can't speak highly enough of this car,my first vauxhall after 40 years of driving.More than happy with the spec it came with.Those heated seats and wheel are great in the winter,rear passengers appreciate them as well.Comfortable seats ensure you can drive long distances too.My son finds the phone and audio system more than adequate.I'm quite impressed with the 1.6 engine,good response when you need it as my daily journey includes hills on a major 'A' road and retuns mid-50's to the gallon.Room wise,more than enough, with no complaints from rear passengers,boot isn't the largest,might be a pain if going on holiday with a family of four.
Two things i don't like,first the stop start.This is the first time i've had a car with this feature and i always turn it off,that's just me.Secondly,and this has been mentioned by other owners on the Astra forum is the paintwork.It chips easily,from stones especially,paint seems to be on the soft side.
