Overall reliability

Brilliant all rounder which is great to drive and massively underrated .

This is a brilliant all rounder - great to drive and comfortable in this trim with four heated seats and heated steering wheel. Fantastic value for money nearly new from MotorPoint. Sat Nav useful and clear. Power folding door mirrors handy.
I am 6ft 2" and can easily sit behind where I have positioned the driver's seat. Both front seats have six way lumbar support.
The 6 speed automatic works very well with the 1.4 turbo petrol engine ( the old 1.6/115 petrol engine was very poor with auto box when I test drove the previous Astra ) . Effortless performance and good around town and on long runs.
The engine is so quiet at idle that at first I didn't even notice the Stop Start was functioning !
Only adverse comment would be that the headlights are disappointing as I thought this version came with decent headlights.
I had a Focus Mk1 1.8 petrol manual for many years and this car is also excellent to drive but with a much better interior than even the current Focus and a better engine than the similarly priced Focus 1.0 auto.
