Suzuki Swift (2010 - 2017)
1.2 SZ2 3dr Hatchback
Really quite good
An excellent basic and unpretentious small car. Purchased as a first car for my son, it has impressed us. Car supermarket low mileage purchase. Relatively cheap to insure and easy to drive.
Good points: you don't need a PhD in astrophysics to operate the radio, surprisingly spacious inside, comfortable, easy to drive, very economical. goes well when you give it some revs, but happy pootling round town too.
Bad points: noisy on the motorway (mostly road noise) but not intolerable. Air conditioning would have been nice. High boot lip.
Can't really fault it for a small car. In fact, I generally prefer it to the wife's A1 as it has more space in it and better fuel economy.
Summary: I love the simplicity and ease of driving this car. It's cheap to run, has been reliable (7 months) and has plenty of space. Minimal gizmos, fun to drive, cheap to run. Fab!
