Overall reliability

a very good "people" carrier if a bit short on luggage space.

The Roomster we have is very good in "3" trim with cruise and climate controls, an early ex demo I suspect. I must admit that I'd like to try it on 15" wheels in normal profile instead of the low profile 16" we have because camber following is the norm. We had the suspension bushes replaced under extended warranty recently and the handling is much better , a common fault i believe.
Where the Roomster scores is as a people carrier. I'm 6ft 3inches, my twin daughters are both 5ft 9 inches tall and they sit behind me with much room to spare. The problem is that on weeks away two 14 year olds and two parents don't travel light so the boot and the middle seat are normally pretty packed!
It's remarkably economical. 58MPG is easily attainable on a run at about 110KM/h but even around town 42 is the norm. Obviously no DPF so I'm loathe to replace it with a more modern version, may have to keep it for ever!
