unreliable

In the main this vehicle has been faulty from delivery and remains so to this day, it will be quite the celebration when the lease expires and it goes..

Vehicle delivered new August 8th 2019, before the end of November the same year it had spent 50 days back with one of two Skoda Dealers. Main crux of the matter being the vehicle shutting down under way.. Initial Skoda Dealer failing miserably to investigate fault, second (the supplying dealer) extensively testing the vehicle over one period of 13 days then again after not resolving things over a second period of 32 days.

‘All well’ until July 2020, vehicle off the road again for a 3 day duration with failed sensor of some sorts. A continual occurrence of various dash warning lights and messages periodically plaguing the vehicles use and repeat occurrences of 2019 switching off while underway.

With more than one AA call out to reset fault codes in order to simply continue on way.

For variety a new fault began during the summer of 2020. With car locked and unattended it would on more than one occasion, choose to drop all the windows wide open and for additional entertainment on one occasion open and close several times, while sat in the vehicle stationary, the nearside front window… Down and up, down and up, down and up it went like it had been possessed!!

Back again into the dealer it went for a 4 day period.

2021 with a general periodic continuation of running rough, not recognising the key fob immobiliser, lighting up various warning lights etc etc. Keeping the thing going with a switch off and on again typically nursing the thing along for yet more miserable miles.

More AA call outs..

Vehicle now back into a Skoda Dealer since Friday 17 December after it failed again, this occasion under acceleration engine cutting and starting again but then running rough as a bag of..

Roll on August 2022 when this atrociously poor excuse for a car disappears at end of its lease.

Avoid this one like the plague once it works its way through the auctions and ends up on some used-car forecourt.
