A near-faultless family car

The Karoq is an ideal family car, which combines all the attributes most people would ever want. It's incredibly practical, solidly built, full of clever touches, and with all the technical gadgets you could want. The infotainment is almost over-the-top in terms of features (like most cars these days), but the interface is excellent and all of the stuff you actually care about is easy to use.

Our Karoq, in SE L spec, has the bargain £250 full leather upgrade, in two-tone. That was a brilliant upgrade, and makes the interior feel genuinely upscale and luxurious. The car is supremely comfortable on long journeys, and is simply a lovely place to be.

Perhaps the only weakness is fuel economy, which isn't brilliant, but there's always the diesel if you do high mileages. Overall though, we are extremely happy in choosing the Karoq, which will serve us very well for the next few years.
