Peugeot 3008 (2009 - 2017)
Active 2.0 HDi 150 FAP 150 5dr Hatchback
Brilliant
Has everything you want.
Dont listen to the press and go for the 1.6hdi the 2.0 is simply superb in this car + the electronic dampers make country lanes brilliant in this. Yea you suffer a loss of about 5mpg but its more than worth it. Ive heard so many times "the 2.0 doesnt go much better than the 1.6" such twoddle day to day you wouldnt notice but load it up say for a camping trip and it really does show my friends 1.6 struggled in places, where this just does everything hassle free.
A practical car enough toys to keep you happy but not over the top - just right. Everything is easy to use simple and ergonomic. A comfortable car on journeys too. Boot is superb and the bench is a very good touch.
The hud is an excellent idea. Keeps you looking where you should in these days of variable speed limits and avg speed cams.
Day to day economy around 45. A recent 500 miles round trip to deepest wales with many different types of roads and driving 53mpg - fully laden.
If i kill it i would definately get the same again without hesitation. Brilliant car much better than the equivilant cramped kuga which is twice the price with the same engine.
Well done peugeot
