Super-fast load lugger
I wanted a C63 for many years, but the old 6.3 version was impractical as a result of the need to stop for fuel on comparatively short journeys. My car did not disappoint. It is very well made and searingly quick. Being an estate, it’s the ultimate wolf in sheep’s clothing. I have had no real problems, other than the battery life being disappointing. It averages 30 mpg. It eats expensive tyres. Bad roads give a poor ride. Insurance is reasonable for a mature owner. MB servicing costs under £500 a year. The sound is amazing especially if the sports exhaust is fitted. Forget Ferrari and Porsche, they’re for posers. Get a gloriously understated AMG and enjoy yourself.
