Super Practical but very Thirsty
Great car, comfortable, practical and reliable.
Servicing is surprisingly expensive, we had an X5 4.8 in 2009 and the V8 lump was cheaper to service with BMW than the 3.0 diesel at Landrover?
Excellent all rounder, we had to have 7 seats and this fits the bill perfectly. We looked at SMAX and other MPV's however when you factor in depreciation the LR4 wasn't a bad bet.
We had specced out an SMAX at 35K and were ready to sign until I saw nearly new SMAX on the forecourt for 14K!!!
We opted for a LR4 XS and paid 42K..2011 and PXed it 2013 for the HSE and got 34K.
They hold the money quite well.
