Hyundai i30 (2007 - 2012)
1.4 Comfort 5dr Hatchback 1.6 CRDi
Excellent All Round Hatchback
I purchased this car with rear and front parking sensors, plus cruise control. Whilst I have never mastered the front sensors, the cruise control is invaluable on long motorway journeys and was well worth the extra cost. The only fault with the car relates to the front headrests which seem to forward and take some getting used to.
Acceleration is good for the size engine. Fuel economy averages between 50-55mpg with driver, one passenger and a dog. Travelling alone on a long journey gives me up to 60mpg.
The Hyundai dealership is trustworthy, but I always have a problem with them wanting to change tyres at a service, even though there are several months life left in the tyres according to the local tyre specialist.
Another annoyance with the dealership is that they always want to add additional service items to the service/maintenance schedule when the vehicle is in for a manufacturer's service.
