IF YOU ARE LOOKING FOR PERFORMANCE, THEN FORGET THIS MODEL

I purchased this car as I am 6 ft 3 inches tall and have arthritis in both my hips and knees. Yes, it is easy to get in and out of and with the exception of a faulty relay switch that drained the battery, has not given any problems in 3 years.

However, we bought the petrol version as we are a low mileage family and, apart from holidays, it is used for short journeys but the 2.0 litre petrol engine is underpowered for the weight of the car. Even on a motorway in Spain, it is infuriating to see small Peugeots go flying past you every time you come to a steep hill. I have never been able to enjoy the m.p.g that is indicated in their literature.

Another grumble is that you can only retract the electric wing mirros when the ignition is turned on - therefore, making it impossible to look in that mirror to see if there is a vehicle that is on the point of overtaking before getting out of the car.
