Mostly reliable, reasonable to run, comfortable, very spacious

Had a few niggles lately - needed a new alternator which my very good mechanic had difficulty to detect, so ended up with a new A/C compressor and a new alternator, but did not get charged for work - who would do that at a Honda outlet ??
Front suspension makes a knocking noise - very slight knocking on the off side. Decided to have both shocks and top ends replaced , let's see whether this was the cause, hope so...
Average mpg 35 but that is mainly in town driving. Current mileage 84000. Every ca 3000 to 4000 miles it takes a sip of oil - ca 1 litre. Gear change is and always was a bit notchy to be honest.
Otherwise no problems, would recommend if you want a reliable car with on-demand 4WD for slightly muddy or snowy conditions , comfortable ride and lots of space
Had an Audi A6 2.5 TDI Allroad before (2001) and that was a complete nightmare - camshafts needed replacement, air suspension faulty etc etc . Price new - £ 28.000 - repairs over 7 years - £ 14.000, nothing from Audi despite regular service by Audi - never again...
