no issues, lost of space for passengers AND luggage, economical, does it all

ive had no issues to speak of with this car. a few minor things like it puts engine malfunction messages up and cuts out if its not had a DPF regen. the ptting up the message I can understand but shutting the engine off completely is DANGEROUS in my opinion, although easily remedied by restarting and taking on a drive (many of my trips are short due to personal circumstances but I do too many miles to warrant changing to petrol)
this car swallows up 5 adults and their luggage with ease and returns 60mpg whilst doing so. whats not to like??

I noted someone else who reviewed the Mondeo complained about poor turning circle. if this is an issue for anyone do NOT buy the models with the bigger, wider wheels like many titanium and titanium x sport models. I asked someone who worked in the dealership where I bought mine and those cars have different steering rack lock stops than the lower spec models with narrower wheels to prevent wider wheels fouling the bodywork on full steering lock) and so those cars have a bigger turning circle. my Zetec model has one of the best steering lock of any car ive driven since having to drive front wheel driven cars.
it drives brilliantly although some of the sparkle of the original Mondeo has been lost by making the car overly soft on the springs/dampers which is fine if you use it on the motorway all the time but it loses its enjoyability on the back roads. its very capable, but just doesn't give that crisp handling and feedback in quite the same way the original did (I had a couple of those as well, back in the day!)

I have taken friends to numerous places in my car and a number of them were so impressed they went out and bought similar cars themselves, and swear they wouldn't drive anything else now which, in my opinion, speaks volumes.
