Ford Focus (2011 - 2014)
Ford Focus 1.6TDCi (115) 2011
Fabulous Car! - Clutch + Tyres Issues however.
I have now owned my Ford Focus Titanium 1.6 Diesel for 14 months and in that time I really could not fault it.
This car is extremely comfortable, is full of gadgets, has plenty of power under the bonnet for everyday driving and fuel economy is brilliant on longer runs.
This is the best car I have had so far.
However, I have recently been plagued with the, what seems to be, common fault of clutch issues.
After suffering a leaking slave cylinder I have had to have the Slave & Clutch plates changed at a cost of £670 at 45,000 miles (16-11-2015) which seems extremely premature.
I am also having paint work issues due to a design fault on the boot lid which ford acknowledge as a known problem, but refuse to fix simply because the car is over a year old.
Take Ford's warranty company out of the question however and this is a brilliant car. Don't let all the negatives put you off buying one. Just make sure you pay £20 a month to an extended warranty company like I have!
