Cheap motoring with a few frills
We bought a pre-registration car so with 5 months less warranty for £7800. We have had it for 2 years now. Average around town mpg 40-45, couple of motorway runs 50-55. With the low tax and insurance plus 3 years servicing and recovery for £600 it is cheap motoring with a reasonably nice car to drive. We swapped the tyres it came with last winter for some all season ones which has made it feel safer handling. The only problem has been that the indicators like to self-cancel too soon then won't go back on again. Also we hired a bigger car for a week away so that adds on to our annual cost.
