Fiat 500 (2008 on)
0.9 105hp Twinair S 3dr Hatchback
So much fun... but a few niggles
What a cool car! Performance is way beyond expectations. In eco mode it is fast, in sport mode it is raucous, fun and sure makes progress. Engine loves to rev so seeing 4000 rpm on the dial is normal and due to being a twin doesn't sound like you're reving it hard. Fuel economy is, as many have said before, poor. Averages around 52mpg. Uses a little oil (which being 0w30 c2/c3 costs). Seats are so comfortable compared to previous car - Toyota iq. Strange height adjustment works for me, just the back of the seat base goes down leaving backrest and front of seat where they started. Large print digital speedo is a godsend for middle aged eyes. Oil looks murky quite quickly so doubt the 18k change intervals - suggest 9k more conducive to engine survival. Only failure so far is the oil cooler sprang a leek, dumping oil out at a fair rate. Good luck had me spot problem before terminal oil loss - so remember kids: check the oil regularly even if your car never uses any, just in case!
